EMOSE anuncia resultado líquido positivo de 368 milhões de meticais
Os accionistas da Empresa Moçambicana de Seguros (EMOSE) aprovaram, nesta quinta-feira, o Relatório e Contas referente ao exercício de 2024, que apresenta um resultado líquido positivo de 368,10 milhões de meticais, representando um crescimento de 746,95%.
De acordo com o Conselho de Administração da EMOSE, o desempenho positivo ora anunciado é resultado das medidas implementadas desde 2023. Este resultado confirma a eficácia da estratégia adoptada, com destaque para a contenção de custos administrativos, selecção criteriosa de riscos e gestão assertiva dos investimentos financeiros.
“A robustez financeira da empresa encontra-se consolidada, com uma taxa de cobertura da margem de solvência de 1.188,84%, representando um crescimento de 472,25 pontos percentuais — valor muito acima dos padrões prudenciais regulamentares”, refere a nota do Conselho de Administração da EMOSE dirigida aos accionistas.
Para 2025, a administração da EMOSE definiu como prioridades a busca por resultados sustentáveis, a consolidação do posicionamento no mercado, o fortalecimento da base de clientes e a expansão das operações para novos segmentos, contribuindo, assim, para o desenvolvimento socioeconômico nacional.
O Conselho de Administração da EMOSE é composto por Janfar Abdulai (Presidente), Sebastião Carlos Dimene (Administrador responsável pelas áreas de Administração, Finanças e Recursos Humanos) e Santos Fernando Magaia (Administrador responsável pelas áreas Técnica e Operacional).
A estrutura accionista da EMOSE é composta pelo Estado (39%), IGEPE (31%), GETCOOP (20%) e os restantes 10% encontram-se dispersos na Bolsa de Valores de Moçambique.
